Finally, the iOS demo for Cocos2D is here (see topmost post for download link).
It took me a whole week to build a cocos2d framework that works on iOS. Turns out that I had to build the cocos2d sources straight into the framework, adjusting certain headers, sorting out which headers and source files needed to be included, that sort of thing. Sounds easy in hindsight but wasn't given the various types of errors that would show up which gave little to no clue as to what needed fixing. I got there by trial and error mostly.
On the good side along the way I got rid of certain inefficiencies, so the frameworks are now smaller in size than previous versions.
